We are proud to announce that Board Game Arena is now officially supported on smartphones and tablets.

Many of you were already using our service from smartphones or tablets, but it was sometimes difficult to use. We have 84 different board games on BGA, including some games with a lot of material, so it's a real technical challenge to say "now you can play them from a mobile phone". Well, there is still work to do, but we performed a lot of optimizations during these past months and we decided to support officially all these devices.

The whole BGA main website has been optimized for small screens and touch screens, and we performed adaptations to the game interface to make your experience fluid and pleasant. Of course it is (and it will be) difficult to play very large games on a small screen, especially in realtime, but it is now feasible and officially supported.

Don't hesitate to send us your feedback about your experiences, by posting suggestions on the forum or by reporting bugs.

This is a big and important step for this service, and we hope you'll enjoy it!

For now there's no app, but you can select "add to my home screen" from your web browser menu to add a BGA icon on your device home screen.
