Translation interface for mobile (horizontal scroll and pinch-zoom)

Hi guys, I've been trying to do translations from my cell phone. I've managed to edit the strings, after a fashion, but although you guys note support mobile devices (thanks for that, btw), there are several problems in that particular area.
Most notoriously, for some reason, I cannot scroll horizontally or pinch-zoom there. Hence it gets really difficult to read the original strings and try to find the best translation for them.
I'm using a Motorola Moto G 2013 (1st gen) running Android 5.1.
