We can only single people out when they present themselves as targets. IE, by doing such activities as refusing to properly capitalize, misuse of punctuation, not using a spell checker, not caring about the difference between their/there/they're, etc. If English is not their native tongue, they can always use tools such as Google Translate. But, if someone expresses their opinion in a public place, they need to be prepared to take criticism for that expression.

Hi,
Thanks for asking before starting a flamewar

No, the forum is not a tool to allow for personal attacks of other players. It's there to discuss BGA and games.
If a player did something wrong in your opinion in regards to BGA rules of conduct (see the
FAQ), you can give them a red thumb and/or report them through the BGA "report a player" functionality for moderators to sort it out.
Other disagreements can be discussed privately between yourselves with the "private messages" functionality of the forum. Just remember to always be courteous (even when someone else is not), and to allow for cultural differences (since BGA is an international platform, some involuntary misunderstandings can arise due to people coming from different backgrounds, languages and cultures; in that case, just discussing courteously about the problem usually solves it).

let me get this straight. you are OPPOSED to ELO and red / green thumbs for gameplay, but SUPPORT ELO and red / green thumbs for forum comments ?? someone has misplaced priorities ...

Senatorhung, I think they may be counting this as a win, as they are technically within the rules. And, as they have expressed many times, they only care about win/loss ratio. Their play leaves much to be desired, though.
