I've just played a couple of times, but I have the feeling this could be a candidate for the "Recommended in Turnbased" tag (https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist?specificTag=29, which has an almost random selection of games, anyway).
In real time, turns can be very long, and it's very annoying that as other players take actions, your interface gets screwed, the top bar gets larger/smaller, everything else jumps up/down, you have to re-select dice, etc. In turn-based mode this would be much less likely to happen, and I guess it would be a more relaxed experience.
