Tie breaker criteria

Hi, can anyone enlighten me about what the tiebreaker criteria is? In this game, I won (my first game!) despite getting the same points as my friend. Does anyone know why?

The person with the lowest free tiles left. In case that is also the same the one with fewer meteorites on his/ her planet.
