Re: Need help understanding scoring breakdown

Accoring to the player panel, Martin Duphil had 15 Generals (women tokens), not 16. If you correct that, you will get the end score of 97 points.

Re: Need help understanding scoring breakdown

So you probably missed that some of them are multipliers. But only one of those was a multiplier of a factor greater than 1 (2 x 4), so that should only have caused them to be off by 4. When I add them up according to how I perceive the scoring works, I only get 28 points. If you check that, you ca...

Re: Need help understanding scoring breakdown

I checked your replay https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=911093646 , and this is the scoring of your opponent from top to bottom: 2 x 4 blue cards = 8, total 8 1 x 15 women tokens = 15, total 23 10 = 10, total 33 3 = 3, total 36 - - - 4 = 4, total 40 1 x 15 women tokens = 15, total 55 10 = 10, t...

Re: The Games You Didn't Know You Needed

Are there any hidden gems you would recommend? I guess you are talking about "hidden gems" already on BGA? That should be clear to everyone; otherwise, this thread will end up competing with the official thread for new game suggestions : https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10...

Re: Developper un jeu non commercialisé.

Prototypes are not allowed on BGA. I am not so sure about that. There is even a game category of prototypes: https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist?specificTag=22 This may depend on what you understand as a"prototype", though. Ai-je le droit de le développer pour le mettre en ligne sur BGA? ...

Re: Block unwanted games

Hi! Maybe this Wiki Page will help you. https://en.doc.boardgamearena.com/ChromeExtension The extension adds a button for 'deleting' a game. This button appears next to the button for starting the game in the list of games. Deleted games no longer appear in the list of games or in the lobby. I am n...

Re: Karma system when SOLO playing

No worries! In all games I know on BGA, you can play solo only in "friendly mode", which allows you to end it at any time without penalty. Or you can switch the game to turn-based via the hamburger menu at the top right corner, which allows you to continue later (within 40 days).

Re: What is the process to recommend/add Instructional videos

Why do you ask this? This sounds a bit suspicious to me, as if you don't want it to be reviewed by admins. ??? Seems like a security risk otherwise! Ok. Before I read your question as: "For some of the games I find videos explaining game play on YouTube that are not present in the current list...

Re: How can I quit a game if a player hasn’t been online for a month, without losing reputation?

Well you can't train at the game if your opponent always quits before it's over. And how can you train at the game if the other player isn't playing at all? Regardless of how you call it, it doesn't make sense that a mode would have no penalties at all. I'm sure most people would agree that there s...
