Board Game Arena

I click on the setting for not playing against high level opponents and it’s not working. I’m a Level One 7 Wonders player against level 300, or 250. I don’t understand what I should do to make the setting work.
What am I doing wrong?

I know the setting for Training works.

I "think" maybe the Portal Cards are on the last page. It is the list of Effects.
Here's a free tip: The Effects on the bottom of the cards is VERY important.

Sometimes the person with a mission plays the high card, same color as mission but does not complete the mission. Why not?
My communicator card will show a blue halo, why? Sometimes it doesn't work, I click on it and can't put up a card, why not?
