"4 moves per day" give +6hrs per move, human beings need 6-9 hours of sleep per day. If someone who needs 8 hours of sleep per day plays one of these games during every waking hour, it's still possible for them to be booted for inactivity, if the person before them always takes a turn arou...

Even if that were the case, it's absurd to place me in a game I've said I can't play instead of just not placing me in a game at all.

When I enabled "fast turn based" games, I didn't expect 2/3rds of the playing hours to be when I was asleep. Did I miss some config option to tell BGA that I can't play while I'm asleep? Wondering what's I'm meant to do here: https://boardgamearena.com/6/terramysti ... =373919082

You get ELO for beating the player who abandoned. It's wouldn't be fair to the rest of the table to declare you the winner just because you happened to have a VP lead when someone left.

I get that it * to lose a game because of technical issues, but ultimately it's your responsibility to manage them and deal with the consequences. It's funny how almost all the people against the title change have never actually played this game. I wonder if they saw some sort of coded language in the title that drew them to this thread?

Based on the communications from the admins, it sounds like the old "no time limit" mode was causing issues for new/casual players who started real-time games with their friends, someone wouldn't be able to finish, and they'd be forced boot their friend from the game to keep using the site...
