ELO further compounds the issue as well. If you have just decided you are not going to win, if you are playing for ELO, there is a valid reason to attack the person in 2nd instead.

I don't play a lot of tournaments on here, but felt like one today. Joined a Can't stop tournament, and when it started ended up being in 13 matches. I can't see anything in particular in the tournament settings that said this was going to happen, but I think this is my first round robin tournament ...

im curious, was there a friendly robber conversation at the beginning of this game? I just watched the first bit of the game, and it feels like a game where people got annoyed at you for refusing friendly robber. just a theory though.
