The game doesn't say in the rulebook: you can't take more than 25 cards. I often take more than 25 cards and I'm fine with it. In such games, it's the goal that counts, not the method. Because rules & ethics are two different things. The rules allow or disallow a certain action, ethics govern behaviour that may or may not be acceptable by individual principle. As in, my ethics dictate that card hoarding is lame & a tactic for knobheads.
