The game doesn't say in the rulebook: you can't take more than 25 cards. I often take more than 25 cards and I'm fine with it. In such games, it's the goal that counts, not the method. If you encounter this type of player, your job is to deal with them, not block them and criticize them. I can handle it, because others often copy my method of play. I've never once publicly criticized anyone for their play, and I've never blocked anyone with a red thumb.

However, as long as the rules of the game remain unchanged, such opinions are irrelevant—anyone who wishes to can utilize the mechanics that allow for drawing cards, without any restrictions. The rules of the game have a far greater impact on how a match unfolds than any subsequent complaints from players. Furthermore, there is no reason to disparage others in public; all players are subject to the same rules and have the same options at their disposal, meaning that everyone is free to decide on their own style of play.
