I agree it seems like you always get the mermaid if your opponent has one. And if that’s the case it mights seem unfair. On the other hand, when playing this game IRL you could also assume where the most likely place is for a mermaid in your opponent’s hand. At the same time your opponent is able to...

This is a big flaw with this game. And makes a 2 player game useless.

So I really like Nanatoridori. After playing it on BGA I even bought the game when I was in Tokyo and it’s been a hit whenever I play it IRL. When I first discovered this game on BGA, I managed to get into the top 5 at one point, which was a proud moment. I sunk back from an ELO of 330+ down to 150....
