Re: Can we Have Option for Block/No Blocking Games for People Who Hate SABOTAGE Players?

It’s just happened for the second time in 20 minutes. The other player has completed their objective cards and is now just blocking your moves. It’s no fun like this, and I’d rather play against NPCs. For the future, I can – and have – blocked these players; a fair Arena match isn’t possible like t...

Re: AI in gameplay

Chess is a single game that already has programs made that can solve it. BGA has thousands of games that would need to each be solved individually in order to have such a feature. Yes that's true, but it's theoretically not impossible. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the games here maintained b...

Re: The 'losing' sound effect

You placed 2nd out of 4 players? Well, you lost. Plain and simple.

In terms of sound effects, you can just mute the sounds. I think it would be a bit harsh for the 3 loser (4th place) to be the only one to hear the losing sound effect.

Re: AI in gameplay

And yes, I certainly mean AI-bots;) Did you know you can edit a post instead of making a new one to correct yourself? This might be smurfing - which I´d really love to have some rules against How would a rule against smurfing be enforced? As for bots, it seems every other week someone is claiming t...

Re: Can a Bad Card Still Be Great?

Beautifully written! I had the experience once of an in-person game where the cursed visionary leader was drawn mid-game and somehow dovetailed with an all-wetlands strategy that maxed it out at the end, resulting in victory. It was a lot of fun! I also enjoyed the name of the card and liked pickin...

Now for the prosecution. Mr. Jones, you may cross-examine. :)

Re: Please Let Me Concede

Those were interesting reads. Some of those people seem to be viewing winning and losing as secondary to other elements of the game. I didn't deny that those players exist. I just don't understand why you bring up the topic when the discussion is about conceding. A person listing reasons for why th...

Re: Please Let Me Concede

I mean, even if you told me I'm allowed to break your castle, it would still feel wrong for me to destroy something you built. You are free to destroy it yourself if you want, but I'm not gonna be the one doing it. It's a similar thing here. Even though they may be playing against someone who doesn...

Re: Please Let Me Concede

But in all the discussions on this topic, I don't remember anyone saying that they don't care about losing and winning. It's always you who brings it up and who acts as if you care about it whereas others supposedly don't. It seems as if you interpret the various reasons given not to concede as mea...
