Re: Youtube channel for game analysis

The AlphaZero algorithm is generic and can be adapted to many different games. You can find many instances in github of people creating engines for different games using this algorithm. It tends to breakdown for more complex games. Someone tried using it for Terra Mystic and wasn't able to progress ...

Re: Youtube channel for Splendor analysis

Thanks for replying. I agree that more narration needs to be done on strategic decisions, this happens more frequently from the middle to the end of the game - I'm wondering if you watched that far or got put off before getting through. Early on there are many similarly weighted moves so its difficu...

ChatGPT hallucinating rules

It explained the rules with about 80% accuracy, but then added that each bird has a special ability when a flock is formed. I followed up in the rule book to try an find this 'expansion' but couldn't (it do...

Re: Elo based on last episode?

Either have the whole campaign count towards elo - or each episode count towards elo. Either is an improvement over last episode counts for elo.

Elo based on last episode?

It appears the elo results are calculated for the last episode played in a campaign. I was just playing a three-player game in which I was ahead on progress points, but because one (? - can't tell) of the players didn't continue the campaign the elo was calculated on the results of the last episode ...

Difficulty playing this game on a mobile phone

Very hard to zoom in and out. Very easy to tap facing wrong direction. Be better to include buttons for which direction to face as alternative to clicking arrows next to car
