Thee are, as of the moment of this post, over 23,000 active players on BGA. If 5,000 of them red thumb you, does it matter? You still have 18,000 potential players. I kind of like it being there ... at least I can identify players who are such lowlifes that they'd cheat at a solo game to get an ephemeral "award" so that I can preemptively red thumb them.
