I agree that balance is a factor here and its not a clunky rule, its just that you don't like it. You don't know if in any future there are other cards like archeologist who enforce placementbonuses and HH is already a very rng heavy map.

How are some folks in platinum, only 2 in gold, most in silver and like 50 in bronze?

I didnt know, but the game state says, my opponent used more time and it felt like that anyway, as I was eager to finish the game.

Games history says I haven't lost a game. I am in an unfinished arena game and the numbers could fit, if the game was recorded as a loss. I also got notified that I lost Arena points. Standings are 16-22 favoring my opponent. Is this supposed to happen?

I cant bring myself to like the new features 100%. I like: New buildings, new creatures, rebalanced cards, most new sponsors give some interesting drifts, a new university.
