Re: Make Friendly Mode Timer in Lobby and game match

I found a fix for this.
In advanced preferences:
https://boardgamearena.com/preferences?section=advanced

This will show the hidden game speed:

Code: Select all

#mob_gameoption_200_wrap, #gameoption_200_wrap {
  display: block !important;
}

Re: Make Friendly Mode Timer in Lobby and game match

I mean games with alpha options like Terraforming Mars: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=terraformingmars which has the option: "Multi-Step Undo Support Feature" Player can undo a single step if able (up to non-undoable action). Experimental "This option is in Alpha and must ...

Re: Make Friendly Mode Timer in Lobby and game match

Okay I did a little digging. When loading a game in dev mode you can see the URI it loads to get table info: https://boardgamearena.com/table/table/tableinfos.html?id=826379448&dojo.preventCache=1775624708223 THis returns a JSON that has a data.options section, it gives the settings for the game...

Re: Make Friendly Mode Timer in Lobby and game match

Yea, I only play in turn based mode. I think friendly mode typically removes the timer setting, but when playing games with alpha features (TF Mars/heat), choosing the feature somehow moves the game to friendly but keeps the turn timer. This would be fine if the lobby still displayed the expected tu...

Make Friendly Mode Timer in Lobby and game match

Hi, Due to life time commitments, I typically only join games that are 1 move/day or slower. Unfortunately the lobby does not show this for friendly games. I have joined friendly games a number of times now, discovered the speed was set to faster than I could keep up with, and have been kicked for n...

Re: New Quibbles content now available!

Hi,
Thanks for adding an expansion for such a fun game. I wasn't able to find rules for the expansion either here or on BGG. Can they be linked?

Is it possible to filter the lobby based on play frequency?

I was considering writing this as a suggestion, but wanted to check this first. Is there a way to filter games based on the speed (ie max 2 turns per day etc)? Thanks.

This is the game:

We're both at negative time and apparently have the skip players out of time option.

Friendly Mode fast paced games don't display in the lobby

There seems to be a disconnect in the expectation of game speed between joining a friendly game in the lobby and setting it up/playing it. Typically I only join games that are 1 move/day but I can't see this when joining a friendly game. This doesn't matter from a reputation stand point because the ...

Re: BGA LAB: Experimenting incoming features and give feedbacks!

I’d be interested. I’m fairly new to BGA, but have been playing weekly table top board games for nearly 20 years. I play on iOS phone and Windows PC.
