Note that you only gain a privilege if your opponent picks 2 Pearls with a single action. If they use a Privilege to take a pearl and then with their regular action, take the other pearl, that doesn't trigger the penalty of giving you a privilege.

I agree. I think this game would be even more compelling with expansion content. I got BGA premium purely for this game and would love to see even more depth here on BGA.

I thought it was a BGA wide problem but now it's been multiple days that I cannot open my Pagan games. Other games are working but bot Pagan. My friends are having the same issues specifically with Pagan. Do we know what the problem might be?

I just did a little experiment. A game that was relatively early had 80% progression. I noticed a villager already had 2 favors on them so I raided one of them. Progression dropped down to 60%.
