I just started playing Splendor and I like it, but I am having trouble figuring out a good strategy to win. I know I'll need some of the more expensive cards, but I need to get some of the smaller ones paid for first. I'd love it if someone helped me some with the strategy of the game.

I try to get a star (flower) and numbers 1-3, but how in the world do people get a star completed? That's not an easy task.

As with many of these games, there is a variation. I can’t find it in the rules though. What’s the variation? Thanks

I think there should be an option for an ELO range when playing regular games. When I have an ELO of 23, I'll only get creamed by someone with a 345 ELO.

I understand that we get extra points for having full chakras from the bottom up. That's harmonization. What is alleviation energy?

I sometimes do that but it's because that person's score is so much above mine that I want to find someone else. I wish you could look for someone based on score if it is desired.
