I understand that we get extra points for having full chakras from the bottom up. That's harmonization. What is alleviation energy?

Also on the game page you can go to the "Learn" section where you can see a tutorial made by players or you can download the rules from the link offered on each game page.
Having said that and even so I will quote the rules of the game that say:
• 1 plenitude point for each
alleviated energy;
Note: any negative energy still on
the player's board do not count
as negative points.

So basically it means 1v for every black energy at the bottom of your board.
