You might enjoy woodedge then, with diversified strategies, giving more value to squeakers, bats, butterflies. Better balanced, I think. Agreed, various strategies helps. But I still think some cards take more advantages than others, so the player with more luck sometimes will have a clear advantag...

Just focusing on rating is going to get you discouraged. Rating isn't made for gratification, it is made to try to evaluate skills. If you have a good rating you are expected to win more and so a loss will lose more points. And "luck" is just the noise in this. My advise: Have fun playing...
