Frustrated in losing games which depend a lot on luck

Today also happened to me, I lost to another player much more underrated than. Just I was receiving nothing with points, even being creative, and forced to play bad cards, and the other person enjoying great cards.
Sometimes it happens the other way around

Since doesn't depend on us, is not something to worry about. Just accepting how the cards are served

And if we play with good criteria, we will not losing games that often, just by bad luck

Agreed, various strategies helps. But I still think some cards take more advantages than others, so the player with more luck sometimes will have a clear advantage in scoring

Thanks for sharing! Lol happy to know there is anyone else has the same feeling...Today i lost almost 40 scores per game for 3 times so my ranking has fallen behind by over 200...and I can only win 0-15 each game....That's so frustrating to win back....

honestly, I am also frustrated. I was over 500 (ELO) few times. BUT by loosing the game - I'm loosing in av. 15 points. By winning the game - I'm getting mostly only 3 points. For the game that involves a lot of luck, it just hurts. It just make me not want to play this game anymore

If you play only against higher-ranked players, you'll win more points with victories than lose with defeats. Of course, you'll probably also lose more often than win, so you choice

I thought i could not choose the opponent's level while playing in arena?

Yes, you can choose. When you want to start the game, right from the "Beginnen" (this is in German, probably "Start" in English) big blue button you can click the rot-white simbol that looks like a door. There you can choose the level of the other players that you want to play with

I had the same feeling which led me to play Forest Shuffle way less and concentrate more on other games.

It is just the nature of the game, sometimes you get the cards and sometimes you do not. I had my ELO above 300 and then it dropped all the way down to 122. Now it flirts with 200.

For me I just try and find new ways and strategies to win and also improve with the various expansions. I had a game the other day that I lost but it came down to the very last card played. Heartbreaking but so much fun!

Remember its a game and we play games because we like them and they are fun to play.

With all due respect, why are you frustrated? What's wrong with losing? Is losing ELO the main reason?

When playing a game with a decent luck element, there's a strong possibility that you'd be unlucky sometimes and lose games, people usually play these games, get lucky, fell happy and not accept the possibility that they might also get unlucky and lose games and rating. And not accepting this, leads to a sense of disappointment.

Now, that you've experienced the negative aspects, you should either be ready to accept it, and enjoy the aspects of the game that you enjoy such as the combos and building up your scoring engine. Or, not accept it and move on to another game, probably to one with more skill that is more suited to you, or a more casual one where you care less if you lose.

I've seen that you have played around 1000 games of Forest Shuffle, and a win rate of 56%.
If you improve as a player, your win rate will become better. I have a win rate of 73% in more than 100 games I played.
Other top players, have win rate around 80%. So you can see, that even if luck is in the game, is something we can handle and win consistently.

Maybe focus in improve your strategies and tactics?? Learn from the best!
