Why are players with poor karma not allowed to communicate? I had this issue with a player whom I have played with several times and never had an issue with, but for some reason has poor karma. I found it a bit frustrating that he was unable to communicate with me.

Very interesting convention! How about introducing a way to free up a hand that has been told not to discard and can't play anything? Eg 1,2,3,4,5 = play 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th card, r,y,g = you can discard 1st/2nd/3rd card. b= you can discard 1st or 2nd card, w you can discard 1st,2nd or 3rd. Only app...
