I think the fact that current Reigning champion (CN_Azul) doesn't play this mode speaks for itself

Hi, I've been enjoying Splendor for a very long time, but was surprised (in a bad way) that it's impossible now to play the normal version of a game in Arena mode. Also you can't play 1v1 anymore. What is the reason for this, is it possible to somehow revert the settings to a normal setup?

I had a tie with a player (including same number of rows collected), yet after a game I had my Arena and ELO points deduced. I'm pretty used by now that I get -30 when I lose and +3 when I win, but I think it is just unfair to be punished after a tie, especially in a game that has luck somewhat invo...
