If you DO already have a command token in the middle occupied system, you cannot pick up a unit. See rule 95.3: https://tirules2.com/R_transport

Picking up troops along my flight path

I'm new to this game, but I couldn't figure out how to pick up troops from the planet I flew through to get to my activated system. I selected the carrier, created the path, but didn't see an option to pick up troops as I went through my occupied system. Is it because that system was already activat...
