Picking up troops along my flight path

Post by DrMylo »

I'm new to this game, but I couldn't figure out how to pick up troops from the planet I flew through to get to my activated system. I selected the carrier, created the path, but didn't see an option to pick up troops as I went through my occupied system. Is it because that system was already activated and therefore the troops couldn't move?

Are you on desktop or mobile? You can transport fighters or infantry as you move through occupied systems, as long as you have capacity and you don't already have a command token there.

If you DO already have a command token in the middle occupied system, you cannot pick up a unit. See rule 95.3: https://tirules2.com/R_transport

The active system is an exception. You can transport "from" the active system, usually because you want do a 0-length "move" just to transport infantry off one planet and onto the other in the same system.

Yeah, that's what I did wrong. Thank you for the clarification.
