Yes! A proper Arena (almost) where we get to Pick the hero. I Still this it would be best to turn OFF mirror match, if you play tabletop there is no such thing, it is all part of the strategy. Once step closer to the real thing it better than a step away.

I was waiting a bit to bring this topic forward, but this arena season (24) has been a disappointment. Could the decision to change back to random (you do not get to pick, you are stuck with this character) hero be dragging engagement down (which is a bit puzzling honestly). If I ever get some downtime, I will go back through my history to see! It would be fun to post, but I have an embarrassing win rate LOL, so don't expect anything too amazing.

I have always struggled with the archaeologist, but admit it is fun to use. I do enjoy using the leprechaun, it is one of the few hero's where levels are king, granted the treasure dumps are GREAT for getting those levels!

The character names are there as are links to the final games (though they may have expired). It seems that Tristan is the favorite among many and is likely the most capable of those high scores. It would be great to see an official data dump from BGA on high scores and heros, etc..

I was wondering the same thing, two seasons in a row now. Maybe it is broken? However, I must say Season 23 is far more active than the last couple, instead of waiting 40 minutes for a game, it is down to 5 minutes. Maybe less RNG anxiety? : )
