Hi, in a 2 player game I just played, even though I did not have the inn, after the other player passed, either I paid 1 denier, or 3 denier to place a worker, and I do not understand why, is there a rule on this?

I agree, I'd much rather see people with no opponents because of red thumping get no games instead
