Why are the town names so constrained in the profile ?

Hello dear admins, this is a suggestion for you

I just tried to put a funny nickname for the town I live in, but I got a warning "we did not find the name of your town". That's pretty unfair.

If I am a Breton and want to tell I live in Roazhon instead of Rennes : I can't
If I live in Paris and want to call it La Ville Lumière : I can't
If I live in Toulouse and want to call it La Ville Rose : I can't
If I live in Avignon and want to call it La Cité des Papes : I can't
Als ik in Brugge woon en ik wil het Het Venetië van het Noorden noemen : dan kan dat niet.

et ça n'est pas très "funny".

If you ask why, I guess it's because the city information is supposed to be something to share with other players and/or admins, so it must be in some normalized form. Otherwise it would be full of King's Landings, Gondolins and Mos Eisleys.

So what would you miss from having no information at all ? Those who need to know will understand, others would have something interesting to discuss with teir partners or opponents

This is partially what OP is saying. He would like that people be able to put funny things, whether this is to say where they live or not to say their actual location while still having their profiles completed (you get a badge when doing so apparently).
