I agree it seems like no one checked the translation - pretty important to get it right when you only have a few plants to choose from. I hoped for solo play too. I just read about the game and thought I could try it solo. The good news is I played an opponent and won my first game but a lot of that was luck. I'm still not totally sure of the rules LOL but I think I'm going to like this game a lot.
