Re: New Arena Settings?

Well then. I shared I wasn't sure I felt like continuing regardless but that makes it an even easier decision.

Are you considering playing this season?

Re: "Defender" scoring -- am I wrong or is the implementation wrong?

I meant something more along the lines where optimal play typically has both fort and wall completely filled since they are so efficient. And if you don't fill fort you can't fill out wall so I typically don't see many games where fort is filled without wall also filled.

Re: "Defender" scoring -- am I wrong or is the implementation wrong?

Speusippus do you happen to have the table number so they can see what it looks like in game? That'll probably be enough to confirm it. At this point I think I know what all the cards are by heart. Hmm... An expert in the game can probably confirm if what I'm looking at is correct, but it see...

It's definitely *supposed* to score wall sections. You are certain it's coded wrong and scoring something else?

Really...? I never knew that and just assumed it was coded correctly. Can anyone else confirm?

Re: So when everything is simultanious - what happens when I finish year and get soldiers from other players?

You can't always reasonably leave a spot without significant disadvantage. Most common case is final round where you hold the only scout shape. You can't leave a spot open especially if those points would combo and get you blue workers back. It's obviously up to you how you want to deal with it but ...

Re: So when everything is simultanious - what happens when I finish year and get soldiers from other players?

isn't it a disadvanatage to finish year first because the soldier might just be on a semi-good position now. It is a disadvantage. It ranges from insignificant to quite severe depending on which round and what the board state is. My personal take is that it's usually not worth stalling since most o...

Re: 🌿ELO System Updates

Another issue with the power levelling fix is the following situation. Take two strong players who play against each other regularly (for whatever reason, small player field etc.). They both win close to 50% of the games between them, but sometimes one of them gets a bit of a win streak going, some...
