Board Game Arena

So why do they match you with players that far away from you? Also do you get any bonus ELO for taking out other players? In some games I have taken out two other and even two in in one hand.

There seems to be no real place to find out how they score things. I was in second place 4 times in a row. Got plus 1 plus 1, 0 and minus 1. I also eliminated 1 other player once and 2 players in another one of those games. Should be a bonus point for taking another player out.

I mean at the end of the match, when they are giving ELO points, I have gotten 0 -1 +1 and +1. Not sure why so few points.

Also you should get a bonus point if you took out another player, 2 if you happen to take out 2 players.

How does the point system work in the Arena? In the past 3 days I have taken 2nd place 3 times and got 1 point twice and zero points a third time. This seems odd to me.

There are definite differences in playing on here and playing IRL. Spies come out in pairs. It could also be the case that they had no cities left. If a player has no cities to lose (only settlements and/or metropolises) he cannot be the weakest defender.
