Re: Premium subscription price update (July 1st 2025)

$42.00 a year to be able to play games 24 hours a day/365 days a year; $3.50 a month? Well worth it. When I first found BGA I was amazed it was so inexpensive compared to other gaming sites (tabletopia/steam).

I don't think the team running BGA are living in mansions

Re: playing hours on BGA

Sadly they first posted their suggestions in 2022, again in 2024 & 2025 all to be met with: This suggestion has not been analyzed by the developers yet

so it seems they don't find it an issue :(

Re: Why have I been blacklisted from Castles of Burgundy?

This is the only game on BGA that I am having this problem with. Every time I try to start a game, it's removed from the 'waiting room'. And when I try to join someone else's game, the players in there quit. I can only assume that someone blacklisted me and then shared that with the whole community...

If you aren't going to build a large area and get the tile bonus; the wolf gives you points for each separate area you build on the board - so the more sporadically placed/not attached pieces - the better with the wolf.

Re: Explanation of Board Options?

Castles of Burgundy is a nice opportunity for me to experience the perspective of playing a game for the first time on BGA that I hadn't played in person. I viewed a comprehensive rules video before starting a game, and even read some basic strategy ideas on BGG. However, I was not prepared for the...

Card descriptions for cooperative gaming

Not sure where I found this - but I found it helpful when playing cooperatively to have the identifying names for the pieces.

Thank you!! Much appreciated!

anyone out there?

New to the game and have a question regarding the lighting of fires and how they are scored? I see you have to have a path from the red row to the card touching the fire card. Does it have to be flat sided touch? No corners? https://boardgamearena.com/10/solstis?table=481426539 Thanks for your help!
