Reporting inappropriate behaviour

How do you report a player for inappropriate behaviour other than in a chat? Player * was losing a game. When I had to leave temporarily IRL he booted me straight away even though I had said I was going to be right back and was less than 1 minute? *Moderation Edit: please do not use the Forums to ca...

Re: Does this puzzle belong on BGA?

I heard from the developer that there are 6000 puzzles in this game. Are you sure folks remembered them? Where does you information come from? I have played 29 games and already recognising many repeats - highly unlikely if there are 6000 puzzles. The "board game" is available to buy - th...

Does this puzzle belong on BGA?

There seem to be a limited number of puzzles here and several players seem to have memorised/written down solutions to all puzzles. Does it belong here?

Re: What's up with people repeatedly joining a table and declining?

I don't think it's sabotage as such. If you use the "Play now" screen and don't have preferences set it can take you to a game with settings you don't like - especially newer members who don't know about setting preferences. Very new members may not even be aware there are other ways to jo...

Re: Overpowered beginner players

As others have said, I really don't think there is any ill intent here. All of us joined BGA at some point, but with experience of a number of board games. I always see "beginners" as new BGA members, but unknown skill level. Yes, that means my ELO might take a hit sometimes, but that's no...

Re: Did you meet unfair players ? I did 2 times in a row, and it drove me nuts

(...) the fact is that it implies every people here come to compete and that it excuses every behavior as long as "it is the rule". Sorry, but i do not agree. Just to be clear : You don't agree with an implication you have made up yourself and that you try to pass as a fact ? There is com...

Re: Why do some users play >50 games simultaneously

Several times I have encountered users who play a lot of games at once. Often with the speed "1 move per day". What specifically caught my attention is that such regime is applied to games that are generally played fast: Ticket to train, Carcassonne, Bang!, etc. Is this some way of farmin...

Re: Why do some users play >50 games simultaneously

I really can't see what the issue is? If you are playing a turn-based game and all players are taking their turns in the time frame relevant to the game - does it make any difference to you if that is their only game or one of 500?

Re: Linked accounts

Prime example. Table ID 520285963 Round 9: 30annie30 bids 0 despite holding 13 of trumps. Romucsp then leads first trick with 14 trumps. Is annie psychic? Round 10: Romuscp bids zero when leading the trick in the final round. They have a 13. Luckily annie has a trump so takes the trick. BGA condone ...
