Are there any statistics on how large the first player advantage is in a two-player game? While the second player starts with one extra food, that surely doesn't compensate for the advantage of getting first to contested trophies, and the fact that the starting player gets a full turn extra if it is...

Yes.

Your pink power bird resets its' power when it becomes your turn, so if your opponent has two turns in a row (which can happen as you described), then your bird can activate at most once during their two turns.

There is yet another advantage to being the first player. If you play a bird with a pink ability, getting it down early can be important. If you for example wish to start with your Belted Kingfisher, you're not happy to be player 2 and see your opponent's first turn be to play a Yellow Commonthroat....

It says in the game information that the interaction is 0. Surely this is wrong. Interaction should be 5 according to me.
