Pink Power Ruling Sanity Check

Post by Ceaseless »

In 2 player Wingspan, if a player takes their turn at the end of the round, and takes another turn at the start of the next round, any opposing pink powers should treat those two turns as separate turns rather than one big turn, correct? Meaning they can trigger for each of those turns if their requirement is met.

Your pink power bird resets its' power when it becomes your turn, so if your opponent has two turns in a row (which can happen as you described), then your bird can activate at most once during their two turns.

Nope!
Between your moves... means not after the move of other players...

Seems I had tunnel visioned pink powers as a "once per turn" idea that I didn't think about the meaning of "between your turns" at all. Guess that's my mistake.

For what it is worth, even though "between turns" is the language used, it is not completely accurate either, as a pink power can activate after your final turn.

Pink powers can activate once, then untap on your own turn, and become available again. I guess text explaining this rigorously was too long to print on the cards.
