Board Game Arena

I have only played on BGA once. I cannot figure out how to trade 4 resources for one (from the supply not with another player). I am not seeing this option come up under Trade? I also thought that if a 7 was rolled then a player with 7 or more resource cards would lose half their cards, but this did...

Has anyone else found this game to be frustrating to learn? It just feels really tedious with so many tiny details. The tutorial stopped working a little ways in and I have run out of steam with the instruction booklet. Seems like it just goes around in circles. I generally don't have difficulty lea...
