The labels only go onto the player mat as in your image once sold. Technically the label is on the drink in the warehouses. The indicator on the top right of the screen should have those up to the minute.

You cannot, for instance, reduce its cost with Earth Office nor will it trigger Mars University as if it was a science tag. This card is played like any other. Then, when it is in play, it counts as any tag while taking an action. So, for example, if you have seven building tags plus Research Coordination, you can take the Builder milestone since it counts as any tag, in this case, building tag. If you have Terraforming ...

Arena games don't. But the other matchmaking system allows it in the settings (which it looks like you've discovered).
