Patron is the second best card in the game after beekeeper imo. The thing with those cards is that they have a disproportionate scoring potential almost by themselves, considering their high flexibility.

The answer is in your question : "if you already have the right cards in the game". That makes it very situational and rellies on the truly powerful cards, such as beekeeper. This last one is just too good by himself. He is the real threat.
