Re: I was able to overlap pieces

This is not the right place for a bug report. If you can post this as a bug report I will have access to the table number and be able to view the replay and other information to try and work out what happened.
What happened to you should definitely not have happened.

Re: Improve turn-based play with "turbo mode"

Okay - with some thinking and research I am going to reject this suggestion as is. It could lead to cheating and is against the guidelines of BGA. HOWEVER - there would be scope for a new game variant: “Open Shapes (Fast Variant)” where all four shapes were exposed to all players at the beginning of...

Re: Improve turn-based play with "turbo mode"

The game developer here. I have responded to this suggestion on the bug report page: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=199081 The main issue is that this feature could be used to cheat. Apparently some players have more than one account and could use the information gained by one of the account play...

Re: Cubix - Looking for a developer

I am interested. I have just about finished my third BGA game and would be interested in helping/collaborating with you.
I enjoy the challenge and don't really care where the game ends up.
DM me if you are interested - I will DM you as well.

Re: 9UP - A simple card game

I'm interested in helping you. I have just finished working on two games, Junk Drawer and Call of Katulhu and have the first one almost past Beta. If you want to discuss it further send me a direct message. This game looks like it is within my capabilities.

Re: WebSocket connection error.

I found the issue in my code. I had used a hack to get the screen displaying properly for the spectator by allocating a player id to the spectator. Once I removed that and dealt with the screen display differently it was able to connect to the WebSocket. I don't know why but lesser things have confu...

Re: WebSocket connection error.

I should have added for further information that the page loads in normally with spectator view. Without the WebSocket connection there are no notifications received so the page isn't updating as the game progresses.

WebSocket connection error.

I am getting this error when trying to play with spectator view - everything is fine when playing the game with the players: centrifuge.js:1 WebSocket connection to 'wss://ws.studio.boardgamearena.net/connection/websocket' failed: WebSocket is closed before the connection is established. Can anyone ...

Re: How can I test my PHP backend code outside the BGA platform?

I was able to set up a project in my non-BGA IDE which I used to test the complex scoring algorithms for many different score goals in the game I was developing. I had to get the game to a certain stage, export the database and import it into my offline project. I had to set up Game.php with the sco...
