I think as you play more, you naturally remember a lot of the key words and use that memory to aid you in the game. The only thing I would consider cheating is if you are actively checking a list, instead of just consulting your memory, while guessing.

I really like those pointers. Changed my game play a lot.

Someone actually wrote to the publishing company and got a response saying that relative clues (smaller, faster, etc) are acceptable.

There was also a time that my team guessed one word correctly but the other team had three. For some reason, the game concluded that it was a tie. They had perfect spelling by the way.

I think it would be better to just let the players manually check and agree on a game result.

I started thinking about this because a person used something like "beach" as a clue for "sandwich". Although "sandwich" contains "sand", it has nothing to do with "sand" meaning-wise. Hopefully we can all agree that that's not a legit clue. Then it ...
