Also, I think, when you play a tile on them you get a ('standard') resource of your choice? Not stronger than 2 plants 2 mineral or bunch of cards, but flexible (and thus pretty good?). I haven't tested if they work with mining rights / guild.

I had a game recently and the discard updated worked as intended.

I had a friend here on BGA that would indeed name the assistants. The 2 gold guy is 'Maurice the Miner' (the strongest). The airplane travel is Amelia Earhart. One of the ladies who gives arrowheads (and maybe Jewels?) is Jasmine from Aladdin...

There's been a few posts about the conceding earlier option on this forum (may be hard to find with the search function). Basically, as I recall, the BGA powers that be are balancing ELO , arena rating and... bots and farmers. If everyone could concede first or second turn and have the game 'count' ...

At least it was arena, so you got your arena points? The arena point hit should in the end make it such that you match up less and less with that player?
