Interesting point, but I tend to disagree. With 4 players you have the same intrinsic luck factors than with 2: draws of tiles and animals (+ spirits). But you have two big edge factors less: (1) direct control on what is available for your opponent (blocking), (2) easy two-step planning from the ti...

My take on this would be that Luck = 1 corresponds well to spiritless 2-player games. But then add 1 Luck point if you use nature spirits, and 1 more if you have more than 2 players. So Luck = 3 for 4-player spirit games indeed. About facing over-powered spirits, I am tempted to go even further than...

Side discussion: do you think a future extension will bring a "Face C" board? If yes, what could be a fun one? Personnally I imagine a 2-players board where a boundary is shared by each player's territory, so you can rely on your opponent's tiles to complete the patterns of your own animal...

I agree with this interpretation.
- Higher arena scores for the top players come from a lower luck factor in the arena format.
- The main aspect decreasing the luck factor in the recent change (season 23 to season 24) is not the switch to Side B but the removal of Nature Spirits.

In the other hand, nothing forces you to play your spirit. I can imagine a game where you see you can take a good combo of flat animals, while your opponent has a long-to-build spirit, and you deliberately decide to ignore your own spirit to rush your opponent in 7 turns. That would be a legitimate ...

Classic "variance swing" for Ellektra :D Actually your insights made me think about another interesting debate: how much of an advantage is it to be player 2? I have the feeling it is quite much, but I should check my records to support it with data (ex: percentage win on every position)...

Can anyone release and commercialize an expansion to Harmonies or is it restricted to the owner of the original license (Libellud)?
