Hanabi has an unofficial variant where players get an extra card.

I think this issue could ideally be addressed the same way with an unofficial variant of 'No Blackout' , but i wouldnt be fussed if 'No Blackout' became the default.

I agree it make the game significantly more challenging.

Id been wondering if a high number of losses early on would affect my win% and if it'd feed into rankings. I can see my rating over time , but it has a squiggle and then flatlined rec...

Something like that makes sense, I thought it might have been an if statement if (games > x) and (win ration > y ) then rank. Or maybe it uses figures across whole playerbase. Ive played some more games and had a look at some profiles. ~1000 games / 800 victories was Expert ~850 games / 550 victorie...

Does anyone know the currently implemented thresholds for someone to change ranking ? Ive seen Apprentice, Average, Good, Expert (and probably some more). Im currently Average and wonder whats needed to get up to the next level, and if its possible to be demoted levels. Thanks Maybe if a few people ...
