I would like to enquire about progress with new expansion for Res Arcana. It seems to have been in Alpha for the last 8-9 months with no new progress?
I think it plays good enough and would like it to be moved to the "ranked" play so that I can find more players for games.

Issue is that, your suggestion would take many extra turns. During that time opponent is likely rushing to finish the game. Trashing is great, but if you do not trash in time you will lose.

Buildings can count for multiple objectives, if you have 3 objectives that needs a building of 2 builder strength you could have a building with strength 7 that will count. Designer has answered already.

There have been other threads about the strength of building 2A on BGG. I noticed that this game did not have that building. Also as you stated the train has bonus tile + aux action at level 2 train. So opponent did not have good option to chain multiple actions together which is normally powerful. ...
