Sorry, further information just came to me about this.
In a game of Spades started on my iPhone, while my iPad could load it and watch it, it could not choose any options or post comments in the chat feature. I had to play the whole game on my phone, a very tiny screen.

Specifically, here is the error I get when the "Play now" lobby screen won't display everything on an old iPad ios v12.5.6:

Callback error: TypeError: undefined is not a constructor (evaluating 'new ebg.lobbyauto()')

In reply to your comment, yes, I have seen that happen a lot. However, many times players will attack someone in an already weak position, effectively enabling someone else to run away with the win. Some players just play to avoid being the person who comes last, with no thought of actually winning ...
