The reds scenario may not be perfect, agreed that playing them on 3 is reasonable for my opponent. But I think it illustrates the concept well enough. The sandbox scenario with blacks is more common and more clear.

No that’s fine, I just won’t get to all 9 scenarios so wanted to see if any stuck out as particularly interesting. Some of these plays look pretty bad (the round 1 where you suggested why not 2y… my play looks terrible there) but others require more time to look at since they might be about setting ...

All good comments. One of my goals with the series was to show that you can make plenty of mistakes or subpar plays and still make it to Master. I think you’re helping show that

Yeah spot on with the reds, I wonder if I would make the same move today or if I would take the whites instead. My game has become a bit more focused on giving opponents negatives than it was when I recorded those.
