Re: How to use the colour clue flamb

Yes, and the rules don't say that you should be able to avoid the flamb's reward if you can use it.

Re: no rewards ?

You must wait at least 30 days for a translation to be validated.
So you won't receive any reward before it is validated.

Re: Pestilent Double Bluff > Promise Double Bluff

OK, this is what Romain explained.

You describe the H-group convention, which is not very played on BGA.

All of your examples make much more sense with the H-group convention.

Re: Pestilent Double Bluff > Promise Double Bluff

Why Donald wouldn't assume he has b2-b3-x-x ?
It should look like a self-finesse for blue 1 + 2 + 3, from their point of view. (At least, on BGA.)

Re: Pestilent Double Bluff > Promise Double Bluff

Hmm, It takes me a long time to understand both your first examples are PrDB, and the third one is PrDB (actually, I'm not even sure about that). The real question is all about the last example: Would you allow the clue from your last example? What would that mean? 1.There is no 2, so the promise is...

The clue tells you to play the Bk5 and informs you of the W3/M3 in your hand. I think this is good enough 🙂 You can guess that someone is bluffing when they ask you to play at a time when you would usually clue the next player. In that case, you should trust the clue giver and play as they ask, rath...

Re: Fix or Play? Can you bluff anyone?

If the goal is G4, I would prefer clue 4 instead of G, even if another clue is required to make G4 playable (since there is already a G4 in the discard pile). If the clue is only for M5, which seems unlikely since the M finesse seems too long, I would choose any color but G. In any case, it's poor t...

Re: Fix or Play? Can you bluff anyone?

What is the multicolor series when the clue is given?
Is M4 set already? M3?
What about the other series? Are W4 and Y4 useful?

Oh, OK. No, I didn't do it recently. You might be right, then!
