Re: Fix or Play? Can you bluff anyone?

If the goal is G4, I would prefer clue 4 instead of G, even if another clue is required to make G4 playable (since there is already a G4 in the discard pile). If the clue is only for M5, which seems unlikely since the M finesse seems too long, I would choose any color but G. In any case, it's poor t...

Re: Fix or Play? Can you bluff anyone?

What is the multicolor series when the clue is given?
Is M4 set already? M3?
What about the other series? Are W4 and Y4 useful?

Re: negative environment in Hanabi

One downvote does almost nothing, so don't worry about it.
However, if someone is very annoying and receives many downvotes, they will receive a significant karma penalty.
And the more penalties they incur, the more significant they are.

Re: Multiplayer seems solely weighted to the first rolls

Yeah, I was wondering about multiplayer mode.
Why would I spend more than one card to kill a monster? And even one card, if I'm not the player who lead?
If I kill a monster, I win 1 point, if I spent 2 cards to kill it, then it means 1 - 2 = -1 points..

Re: New translations interface (redesign) flaw

Not to say that there should be software blockade for someone who hasn't played a single time, and its translating that game. Its very common, even that it is directly against BGA policy, but has no formal blockade. I'm used to improving the translation of tutorials for all the new games I discover...

Re: If you clue a double bluff, must it include a promise?

In my opinion, such a convention is very difficult to learn because it is so arbitrary. It is also very restrictive with three players because there are no 'other players'. (I agree that long finesses are rarer with three players.) I think players learn finesses first, then long finesses, then self-...

Re: If you clue a double bluff, must it include a promise?

IMO a long finesse should always be the simplest explanation rather than a bluff. Otherwise, you can't perform long finesses anymore, or you allow multiple answers to the same clue, which is bad. Even if you disallow bluffs in situations where the clue can be interpreted as a long finesse, bluffs ar...
