it's 2025 and the timer is still very short. I generally do not suffer AP however I ended with a huge timer deficit by the end of the match have it set to slow. Is there anything that can be done to fix it please?

I normally distribute the cards and then shuffle the deck so they tend not to clump as much during the game.
Yes I agree that random yields worse results than a "controlled" shuffle.
