When you expel a player would it then be possible to end the game at the same time? feels silly to complete a game for which you don't get any ranking pts. At least in a 2-player game.

Well, the ELO leader for Thermopyles wins 25 times over 86 games, so there is a trick :) I just won 2 of my first 5. The trick is that hand card limit doesn't work, so there's no reason not to retreat immediately to 6. Doesn't seem like a trick to me, rather an exploit which is why i suggests reset...
